Museum Of Original Figurines or Moof (for short) is a museum dedicated to original character figurines, comic strips and drawings. The museum showcases 3D comic strips as well as temporary exhibitions. Characters that are featured includes – Smurfs, Tintin, Asterix and Obelix, and many more. It also contains mangas, American comics and other cartoons.
The museum is located nearby the Gare Central station, at the Galerie Horta Central Shopping building. The main icon for finding this museum is the giant Smurf statue outside the building.

The Moof Museum is located at the lower level of the building. When you reach the bottom floor, there’s a gift shop and this is also where you buy the ticket entrance for the museum. At the shop they sell mangas, comics, and other character items – Miffy and Moomins are there as well.
It’s OK to take photos inside the museum but without the flash.

My thoughts about Moof:
I really enjoyed going to the Moof museum. There were so many wonderful figurines that I could just look at for a very long time. My most favorite was the large Tintin figurine. There were also other comics I have never heard of, so I’ve learned something new while going through the museum. I actually like the size of the museum its not too big, and not too small. It took me about 1 hour to go around and see everything.
Is it worth it?
It depends, if you like comics or not. If you’re a fan, then this is a definite place for you to visit. If you’re not, well 8 Euros (adult price) might be a bit too much to spend on a comic museum.
